Nielsen Sunroom Restoration
From Water Damage to Functional Workspace
3720 John Adams Pkwy Ammon, ID 83406
The Nielsen project focused on transforming a severely water-damaged sunroom into a usable and inspiring workspace. The homeowners wanted to repurpose the area into a dedicated office where she could comfortably work on her crafts, but the existing condition of the space made that impossible.
Extensive water intrusion had compromised the back wall, leading to mold and structural concerns that needed to be addressed before any cosmetic improvements could begin. We performed a full tear-out of the affected wall, removing all damaged materials and rebuilding the structure to restore integrity and ensure the space was safe and solid moving forward.
Once the structural issues were resolved, we shifted our focus to creating a space that was both functional and visually inviting. The transformation turned what was once an unusable area into a bright, clean workspace ready for creativity.
One of the challenges we encountered during the project was an unexpected delay with the back door delivery, which temporarily slowed progress. We made it a priority to keep the homeowners informed throughout the delay and adjusted our schedule accordingly.
As soon as the door arrived, we moved quickly to complete the installation and finish the project. The end result was a fully restored sunroom that the homeowner was excited to move into right away and start using for her craft work.
