This project started with a homeowner who had initially planned to take on his kitchen remodel himself, but quickly realized he didn’t have the time or confidence to achieve the level of quality he was aiming for. He reached out to us looking for a cost-effective way to upgrade the space without committing to a full renovation. Our scope focused on painting the existing cabinets and installing a new tile backsplash—two strategic improvements that would dramatically elevate the overall look and feel of the kitchen.

One of the unique aspects of this project was the client’s request to have the tops of the cabinets painted, which is not typically included in standard cabinet refinishing due to visibility and practicality.

However, we made sure to accommodate his expectations and returned to complete that detail to his satisfaction. The transformation turned out exactly as intended—the updated cabinetry paired with the new backsplash brought a fresh, clean, and modern feel to the space without breaking the budget.
